Lions anD RABBITS CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Lions and Rabbits Center for the Arts is tremendous at reimagining what a creative market can become - not just a space for vendors but a vibrant festival that would transform a neighborhood street into a pulsing community hub. The challenge was creating an experience that would draw people out after dark, merging art, athletics, and wellness in ways Grand Rapids hadn't seen before.

the ask

We turned Plainfield Avenue into an extraordinary festival ground that came alive as day turned to dusk. Near Kingma's Market, we created a dynamic space where art and athletics collide. From five until eleven, the street hummed with energy as local artisans displayed their creations alongside fast-paced street soccer action.

The street soccer tournament became a natural centerpiece. Between matches, players and spectators explored wellness zones - cooling off in ice baths, working out tight muscles at recovery stations, or rehydrating with LMNT and boxed water.
