In June 2023, Modelo Especial overtook Bud Light to become the best-selling beer brand in America. We had the opportunity to design sponsorship materials (banners, tents) that enhanced rather than dominated the environment and created art direction that reflected both Modelo's brand identity and local soccer culture.

Our approach weaves together food photography, event coverage, and atmosphere shots to tell the story of these beloved neighborhood spots.

The challenge wasn't just about increasing visibility; it was about educating the community about the depth and sophistication of pre-Hispanic Mexican cuisine while making it approachable and exciting for West Michigan diners. Their 2024 Restaurant of the Year recognition proved their culinary excellence - now they needed a digital presence to match.

Outside Coffee Company, nestled within the creative universe of Woosah Outfitters, presented a unique opportunity to blend artisanal coffee culture with handcrafted art and community gatherings. The challenge was to create an activation that would honor Erica Lang's distinctive woodcut aesthetic while bringing together coffee lovers, art enthusiasts, and community members authentically.

We created a multi-layered experience that transformed Outside Coffee's space into a hub of creative energy during the Friendship Miles birthday celebration. The centerpiece of our activation was a collaboration that turned everyday coffee sleeves into limited edition art pieces—each one hand-printed, making every morning coffee run a chance to own a piece of Grand Rapids art history.
